Season 2011 was quite difficult with a new truck but we learned a lot and finally ended 2.nd in Finnish Truck Race Championship!! Not bad for a first year and we are very, very happy. Iveco has amount potention to next season and competition is hard.

Hope that we can join one or more races in Europe (England and Germany) and test a driver and truck against best og BRTA or Mittelrhein Cuo drivers... :) 

Concratulations to Juha Rinne and Sisu for winning a Championship!!

Kemora Race 6.-7.8.2011:

Weather and race was not so succesful for us: it rained two days, we have few problems with Iveco Stralis about grip, boost and gearbox and like a crown of all one competitors crashed me and one other truck after 3 laps...

Now we have had a lot of doing with cabin, bumpers and electrics. Next planned tests will be at monday 5. of september so there's lot to do before that. Thanks to Henkka for a wonderful job!!

The season will continue in 24.9. at Alastaro circuit. See what happens; Meaning is to win all the rest of 4 races:)

14.5.  Alastaro  (Circuit Endurance)

21.22.5.  Alastaro  (Rata-SM)

6.-7.8  Kemora  (Rata-SM)

24.9.  Alastaro  (Moro Endurance)

2.10.  Alastaro  (Truck Race Final)

Since 1993 Finland has have an own Race Truck championship Circuit. Today, in 2011 we have ten races at Alastaro ja Kemora. 

I drove Race Trucks at -99 and 2000, with Scania 112. After ten years I got a possibility to buy a really compentative racetruck from Mika Mäkinen, a 5-time champion. In season 2010 we drove at Sisu SL 250, standing 7 times at podium and finally, winning the Championship on Finnish Race Trucks 2010!!!

Mika himself drove four weekend in FIA European Race Truck Circuit with Jochen Hahn´s MAN TGS. It was fine to get helping him to Nurburgring, Zolder and Le Mans. The last race october at Jarama, Spain was unfortunately out because we were our own race at Alastaro at same time.

Suomessa on ajettu kuorma-autoilla kilpaa 90-luvun alkupuolelta saakka. Nykyiset kilpailupaikat on Alastaron ja Kemoran moottoriradat, joskus aiemmin kuorma-autoilla ajettiin myös Virtasalmen Motoparkissa.

Itse ajoin kausilla -99 sekä 2000, ajokkina Scania 112. Rakensin taloa ja vaihdoin työpaikkaa jälkikasvun syntymisen jälkeen joten aika ei riittänyt kilpatoimintaan, seuraamiseen kylläkin. Nyt melkein kymmenen vuoden tauon jälkeen oli mahdollisuus osallistua taas kilpatoimintaan ja kävin suorittamassa rataleimatutkinnon Jurvassa Botniaringillä syksyllä 2009. Kausi 2010 ajettiin Mika Mäkisen voittaja-autolla Sisu SL 250, pokaten 7 palkintopallipaikkaa ja lopulta kauden 2010 Mestaruuden!! Ilman Mikan tukea ja apua ei hommasta olisi tullut yhtään mitään!!

Mika osallistui kaudella 2010 neljään FIA European Truck Race kisaan. Oli hienoa olla mukana heinäkuussa Saksassa Nurburgringillä, syyskuussa Belgiassa Zolderissa ja Ranskassa Le Mansin radalla. Kauden päätöskisaan Espanjan Jaramaan ei valitettavasti päästy, kun kisattiin Suomen mestaruudesta Alastarolla samana viikonloppuna.
